In an effort to improve the quality of life in a sustainable way, we are concentrating our activities in health care and education. Apart from installing x-ray rooms in various rural hospitals in the Northern and Central Regions of Malawi, we have spent most of our effort in saving Kaseye Community Hospital from having to shut down due to lack of resources.

We started with repairing the roofs of the hospital and refurbishing extensively the never-completed HIV clinic. More recent projects beside the challenging renovation of Block III into an operating facility are the upgrading of the delivery room, the laundry and the storage facility for infection-prevention (IP) equipment. Together with Interplast Germany, we also introduced a dental clinic. Renovation of the out-patient clinic is the next major step.
